Regina Bormann BDS DPDS
Principal Dentist
Regina opened the Promenade Dental practice in February 2003 with the aim of building a family orientated treatment environment welcoming to all. With this as the guiding principle the practice has grown significantly to now include four treatment rooms with a committed and enthusiastic team of dental professionals. Qualified in 1996 in Germany, Regina has over 25 years of experience in practice. Her area of interest is cosmetic treatment. GDC No. 72808
Michael Lavelle BDS (Bristol)
Associate Dentist
Michael graduated from the University of Bristol in 2007 and has spent the large majority of his time since in general practice building a wide reputation as a kind, thorough & empathetic practitioner. Over the past 3 years Michael has been proudly undertaking the role of FD trainer in his practice where he has been responsible for mentoring and guiding three new dentists through their first year of practice and into the world of dentistry. Clinically, Michael takes pride in being able to help patients make measured improvements to the form and functionality of their smiles, whilst always respecting the integrity of the teeth using minimally invasive techniques and cosmetic tooth aligners such as Invisalign GO where appropriate. In his spare time Michael is a keen cyclist and plays football and golf more socially, as well as enjoying many family pursuits. GDC no. 112814
Alessandro Teale BDS (Bristol)
Associate Dentist
Alessandro graduated from Bristol University in 2020 and has most recently completed a restorative and community Dental Core Training year in Cardiff Dental Hospital. This follows a couple of years working in general practice in Weston-super-mare. Alessandro is bilingual in English and Italian; born in Milan, Italy and then moving to England at 10 years old.
In addition to all aspects of general dentistry, Alessandro’s areas of particular interest include minimally invasive cosmetic restorative treatments and endodontics. He especially enjoys conducting root canal treatments, aesthetic composites and has trained for certification to deliver Invisalign Go procedures.
Alessandro has a friendly, calming and attentive manner with his patients, with the aim to improve their smiles’ appearance and function for everyday life.
Outside of work, he is keen to continuously develop as a dentist and in an abundance of hobbies. Interested in most sports; football, tennis and swimming, to name a few. He additionally enjoys travelling, music, food and socialising with friends.

Thomas Monsarratt BDS ( Bristol )
Associate Dentist
Tom graduated from Bristol University in 2020 and loved Bristol so much he decided to stay.
Within dentistry he is passionate about providing his patients with the best care for them and ensuring they are comfortable with their treatment. He is interested in restorative dentistry and enjoys continuing to develop his skills and knowledge.
Outside of work Tom enjoys relaxing by running or hiking around the countryside, he is a keen yoga practitioner and loves to travel and cook any new recipes he has learnt for his friends

Harriet graduated from University of Birmingham with the Dentsply prize of clinical excellence, certificate of merit. Since graduating she has undertaken further Postgraduate Dental Core training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative and Paediatric Dentistry at University Hospitals Bristol.
Commitment to learning is particularly important to her and she has completed examinations and assessment to be a member to the Royal College of Surgeons.
Harriet prides herself in being an empathetic, approachable person who builds up an excellent rapport with patients and good working relationships. She aims to provide a high quality service and best care to patients.
Outside of dentistry Harriet is a keen sports person including cycling, tennis, running and the gym. She enjoy’s travelling and skiing when time permits and is a massive foodie who is currently working through Bristol’s many restaurants!

Hygienist – Monique Henderson

Monique is the latest addition to our team.
Monique is committed to delivering high-quality dentistry and patient care. She enjoys working with patients to achieve better oral health and maintaining healthy gums and teeth through preventative care management.
Monique is a member of the British society of dental hygiene and therapy and the Bristish society of periodontology. This allows her to keep up to date with all the newest innovations within dental hygiene and therapy.
Outside of work Monique enjoys travelling, keeping fit and pottery. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Helen Williams GDC no. 223168 – Practice manager
Helen joined us in February 2023 and has taken on the role of practice manager and is a registered manager with CQC.
Helen is a qualified dental nurse and has over 20 years experience since gaining her dental nurse diploma at Bristol dental hospital.
Most of her nursing career has been spent being a lead nurse in specialists practices that offer Orthodontics and facial aesthetics. She has also gained her qualification in Radiography.
The last few years she has taken on roles overseeing compliance for Dental practices.
Pat Clarke
Head Receptionist
With Promenade Dental since it opened, Pat has been a key support as the practice has developed. Pat manages the reception area and takes pride in dealing with all the demands of this role in a calm and professional manner.
